I'm not sure what it's like where you live Orange (I'm not even sure what state you live in), but here in Cali if you have a possession charge on your record, after 3 years you are not required to state this on applications and employers don't even know.

Just jump through their hoops so you can get out of there as fast as you can man. The sooner you're done with their bullshit the sooner you'll be toking up. How did you get caught by the way?

Because I some guy that walked by the little house walked by and saw and smelled us and he must've told the guy that caught us. At first he called us over there then he smelled us and escorted us to the school police.

You can still smoke, but you'll have to limit the amount you use. I used to smoke about 2 one hitters worth /day everyday, and on the weekends, I'll smoke about 2 bowls. One day, I bought an at home test to see if I would be clean after all of that. I smoked every day except Sunday, and I did the test the following Monday. I managed to pass.

You're right about smoking in public. When I used to, I'd carry only a one hitters worth (there has been a few times where I've smoked about 1 gram to the face). I have stopped doing that entirely now due to the risks and laws in my state.
I know how you feel, and you have my deepest sympathies. Be careful.

I went through this same shit, orange. It wasn't at school (a campsite actually) but I know the feeling. I remember I was SO, SO high when it all happened. Quite possibly the highest I had ever been up to that point. Then, when we were caught, everything just felt terrible. You're high is killed, and you're throw back into reality. I'm just lucky I hadn't been drinking that night too. God...

I recommend you fight the charges in court. Seriously. It takes a lot of time and energy (I had to drive out to the courthouse several times which happened to be an hour away) but it's all worth it in the end. I eventually got all the charges dropped since I had a clean record. Lemme warn you though, the authorities are going to make you feel like shit. The Ranger at the camp was pretty chill, as was the cop, but the judge and woman I had to talk to about the dropped charges were both unbelievably rude. There's nothing you can do though, man. That's just how America's run. It's bullshit. We all know that.

Ever since my incident I've been much more careful. I'm definitely not as laid back as I once was, but sometimes that's just what happens. You just gotta be careful, and try not to hang out with dumbass people. That was my biggest mistake back then. And hey, don't let this change you as a cannabis smoker. It's your god-given right as a human being to smoke this glorious herb; don't let a run-in with the law skew your beliefs. Marijuana should not be illegal. You know it, I know it, everyone who smokes it, knows it. It's plain and simple.

I waited it out for a while, but I've been smoking ever since. Toke on.

It sucks orangeman, but join the rest of us that been arrested.

Right now, it feels like hell, for good reasons. Get a good lawyer that specializes in drug charges. Keep under the radar until you complete your classes, and you are free to live your life.

When you toke, there will always be a chance you are caught. Now that you have been, you have to be more cautious about your toking. You are officially a stoner now.
