Cow shit is better... any ruminant too... the cud-chewers or the multi-chambered stomach critters like sheep... or hindgut fermenters like rabbits have good shit for compost too.
Horse shit I'd avoid because of the sawdust that usually comes along for the ride.
You can get composted manure from the farmers supply or from a friendly farmer.
