My school has gone overboard.

Actually, I wasn't there for the fight, but these are the rumors. The first ones are the truthiest, the last ones are more false.

1. Kid tried to steal gun
2. There was going to "supposably" be a huge gang fight
3. The fight was over crack.
4. There is going to be a shootout on Friday.

There was a whole article on it in the local paper, I'm going to read it later and post what actually happened.

It sounds like they need a couple on duty cops at your school for a while.

I feel sorry for the kids today actually. When I went to high school we didn't have all the gang bang bullshit. There were smoking areas outside the doors that students could go to between classes and have a smoke and usually a toke. Thank your local assclown gang bangers for fucking up a good thing.:S4:

I hate my school so much, but its great because I get to grow up knowing that I've been through the worst of the idiots in the world. I found the article in the paper.


Police arrest 3 Wilby students after resource officer attacked
Three Wilby High School students were arrested Wednesday, two of them for assaulting a police officer.

He didn't try to take the gun, they just punched the officer in the head. Sucks too, because he is the only good cop in the damn city.

Look at all the crazy shit kids are doing in school. Blasting each other up and stabbing one another. They were being cautious, for a reason.

I'm guessing the main reason is that after this incident, some kids can become distressed over an episode like this. Some kids could come back the next day with a gun or weapon and do the unthinkable and blast up some students, or do something that can harm themselves or each other.

There is no such thing as being over cautious when it comes to things like this. What if they had done nothing, and a student came in a blasted some people down, then people will be complaining they didn't do enough.

Better to be safe then sorry. It's better to be over cautious than not do anything at all.

And kids are so dumb these days. Yeah, high school kids think they can take out an army of officers...duh! In jail and charged is what they deserve. They didn't really think they could away with doing that, did they?

Probably just lost their tempers, but maybe they should consider sucking on mommas tits again and suck it up.

I've always wanted to say that. Well, ever since i saw some guy say it to another guy just before he commit suicide. Shot him self in the head. Lovely scene. English TV has extra gore! What has gotten into kids these days? That's horrible! What ever happened to the days of just locking someone in their locker or fistfighting after school?

Today there were 14 cop cars, probably more than 14 cops, drug dogs, the super intendant, metal detectors in the cafe doors, drug dogs, and the hallways were closed down for the day except for passing to class. ?

That isn't suprising at all! Obviously things are out of hand with the STUDENTS at your school! The police are there to show that sort of thing will NOT be tolerated... now, imagine if after the arrest, some of that kid's friends decide not to let the matter rest... bring weapons of their own... retaliate... you suddenly have a situation that puts OTHERS at risk... if that kid was willing to shoot someone, what about his buddies?

This is going to be going on for atleast another month, and I'm guessing for the rest of the year. ?

Well THIS is a problem for me. I hope that whatever they do is not too distracting from your whole job at school, which is to cram your heads with knowledge. Of course it seems that for some of your schoolmates, it's a bit late to expect that to have been their first priority.
