    Lowryder~2, 3 Weeks flowering left..

Hi everyone, just a quick question really, well 2 actually lol
I have 2 Lowryder # 2's ready to harvest on approx 17th Feb. I've got a lot of bud on, but have read somewhere that the cola really thicken up the last couple of weeks or so, is that right?
I've also read that for maximum yield you should put them in 18/6 or 20/4, any ideas is that right or not before i take them out of my flower room which is on 12/12?
Thanks for any help given !!

I think you need to get your plants off 12/12. Lowryder 2 is an auto flowering plant. I don't know a whole lot about growing, but I don't think you need to put Lomryder on 12/12. It flowers automatically. Thats why people buy Lowryder, in fact, thats why I bought lowryder... I'm pretty sure you just put it under light and viola. Now you can put it 18/6 or 20/4, but you said you have it on 12/12 and from what I understand about regular strains is that you put them under 12/12 to start the flowering process.

Lowryder 2 is not a particularly potent strain nor does it yield much, but the reason people still use it is because you don't need to flower it. Also people buy it because you can harvest every two months...

Listen, I don't know jack shit about growing. There are some really experienced growers on here and they know way more than me. But this happens to be the strain that I did some research on. And I'm pretty sure you may be hurting your final yield by going with 12/12.

So I would switch to something like 24/0, 20/4, 18/6.... Good luck and let us know how your crop turns out...

Yeah I think 18/6 would probably be best for lowryder, since there is no real use for 12/12... Anything less than 18/6 for lowryder and you would just be robbing them of light. Good luck. Thanks for the pics. That little plant is squat as hell. What is your set up? Lights and fert?

They are back on 18/6 as of yesterday. I've got them under 600w hps, in biobizz light mix, and feeding them on Bio bizz Biobloom & TopMax. SAhe is not about6 inches taller than that. They were my first 'grow' and had a problem with the PH which i didnt sort out until they were 2 week old, i'll do a pic later of her once i get some batteries for my cam

Low ryder is an auto flowering strain this means that they fill flowere under 24 hr light Im not sure if there are any advatages to shortening the flowering time because in theory the plant will not require a dark period
