You can write in any manner you choose... just remember that it gives people an impression of you similar to the neatness of your dress and the cleanliness of your home.

If you have sloppy grammar, excessive typos, poorly-constructed arguments, or that horrible number thing -l1k3 th15- people will judge the CONTENT of your posts as well and may assume that you are just generally sloppy in other aspects of your life.

Good writing skills are something in which you should take a lot of pride. If you know HOW to write, why pretend you don't?
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Grammar I was wondering how many people think grammar is actually important on a forum? I notice many people use it correctly and many people don't. I personally don't have a problem with people not using it on a forum, but I myself actually like trying to be correct. Sounds a bit sad I guess, but ever since I messed up in class and left school I now love English. My skills are no where near a writers sadly, anyway enough of my crap. Who thinks grammar is important here? Who loves it, and who hates it? Rating: 5
