We all have our ups and down days. I suggest you try moving on from this girl. It may take a few years to finally move on, but why torture yourself over something that might not happen? You're just stressing yourself out.

Best way to get over a girl, is maybe meet a new lady. An animal is a great cure for feeling sad. Cats are great for that.

My cat cheers me up when I'm in the worst of moods. It's something about their purr and chilled back personality that does it.

Maybe consider going out for a run, a walk, or a lagar or two with some friends. Just do something to keep your mind off of your problems. Sitting around dwelling about it will just sink you even deeper. Keep your mind busy, then in a few weeks, you'll think about her less and less until she's out of your system.

Like you said though, you don't think "it" will ever happen, so now is a time to move on.

Don't think of giving up though. I mean, you have a stable job that you don't seem to mind. Dealing with deseil marine engines if I remeber right, and that is an awesome career! You have done so much that others just dream about. You have the smarts and the know how.

You'll find that special lady someday, but maybe this girl isn't it. Move on and do your best.
