i live here and have been with someone caught with weed. he had to pay like 150 dollar fine for having a pipe and weed on him and they just took it away. but seriously i didnt realize we had some of the harshest laws in the country. god look at the decriminalized states i didnt realize there were that many which still isnt a lot but it would be so nice with no threat like that just a little fine. or some where there isnt even a fine for posession it is totally legal

i live in IL, too - know a couple kids that have mandatory rehab and fines and possible weekend jail terms for just a little bit of weed, it really just depends on the situation, there are so many different combinations of penalties that they pull out of their asses.

Dude tell me about it. I'm from Illinois. When I went to court to watch my friend's case, I had to sit and witness people caught stealing 10,000+, and commiting domestic assault, both getting like 1 year. Then they gave a dude 10 years for having some cannabis plants. I wanna move to Cincinnati sometime. OH has fair laws.
