I passed Richard Simmons in a hotel lobby once, he really does wear those shorts in public. He was being followed by 5 or 6 overweight women in their 50's singing, "We love you, Richard, oh, yes, we doooo!" You know, like the song in Bye Bye Birdie. It was quite a display.
