Im havint alot of problems latley...
Your symptoms sound like a classic respiratory infection. Your smoking, especially the amount you smoke, is undoubtedly leaving you more susceptable and worsening the symptoms. The pain in your neck is most likely swollen glands from your bodies anti-viral mechanisms. It may sound gross, but the reason your neck hurts when you get sick is because those glands are basically the virus graveyard, where all the dead microbes are being sent to be processed.
My advice:
1. Get some odourless garlic pills, they can be bought anywhere really. Garlic has a chemical with powerfull anti-viral properties, and these pills work pretty well for me. But eating a raw clove won't do much if anything, you want the concentrated extract from the pills. The directions will say something like "take 3 a day", but really if you want results you should have about 15 a day (while you're sick). Don't worry, there's really no toxicity issues to be conncerned about even at these doses.
2. Vitamin-C man. A lot of people write the stuff off because it doesn't really work. Why doesn't it work? Because the recommended dose is WAYYYYYYYY less than your body actually needs. I've been reading a lot of studied on this, and they indicate that while the FDA (AKA the Bullshitters) recommends about 300mg a day, you should take about 3,000mg a day (or 3 grams) to see real results from your cold. Believe me, this has worked for me, my immune system is incredible since I got onto this.
Remember that taking a vitamin-E supplement (vitamin-E is abundant in eggs and chessnuts btw) will double the staying time of vitamin-C. Start with 2,000mg a day, then work your way up to 6,000mg after a day or two while you're sick. Space your doses too, so you don't expell a lot of it in your urine. Once you're better, I'd recommend taking 3,000-4,000mg daily in your regular life, or 1,000-2,000mg if you eat a lot of fruit (seriously, INCREASE YOUR FRUIT INTAKE for many reasons).
3. Get good sleep. Your body and mind will only work at half capacity without adaquate sleep.

I may worry more than i should but what ever. I am sick of going to the doctor and telling them I smoke and I am having these problems and they just blow me off and tell me to stop smoking. Well b4 i had this horrible horrible cough and i went to the doctor and i told him i smoked and he said just stop smoking and your cough will go away well i show up to the same doctor 2 weeks later with namonia. anyways on to my new problems and i cant tell if this is smoke related or what.
