awesome tea?

Ive been reading a lot about alternatives to weed and shit cause im trying to not get caught and just cop weed off my friends and shit lol, but nothing seems to work... like kava and stuff, passionflower, skullcap... i mean kava's ok but then while i wasnt looking something just hit me right in the face.

This tea my mom buys from like greece happens to have a really nice smell, so i tried it one day. She buys it in like dried herb form, and you crush it up and put it in a tea maker or something-- I believe its called greek mountain tea or ironwort, but we get it online, so whos to say thats really what it is. I've also checked out pictures of the so called "intoxicating mint" and they look excactly like the plant. Could be either, but anyway, the normal way to brew is just crush up some plant parts and put in water. After trying this and getting a minor relaxed effect, i decided i could make it a more concentrated brew by separating the flowers out from leaf and stem. This not only decreases the space the plant matter takes up, but as i've read, the flowers of any given plant contain more of that plant's alkaloids than leaf and stem, so it allows for a more concentrated brew. I usually drink about 2-3 cups of this.

The effects of this tea are very pleasant... not a high of course, but something nevertheless. A kind of nice feeling pressure in your head and a pretty good mood. I can only describe it as if you're just relaxing your thoughts are all over the place, but it can also be used to study with and stuff because when you try to concentrate your thoughts just really easily come to you.

Dunno what i've stumbled upon here... if anything.

Weird.. i got some pure leaves of green/jasmine tea. Is it minty tasting? Is it soo strong you can't stand it? Cause black tea can be like that sometimes.
