Northern Lights
I've been growing some northern lights for about 3 weeks now and I think it has an N K P problem because I havn't fertalized at all yet. Its under 2 cool white bulbs about 1/2 inch away from the tops. Do you guys think it just needs some fert? Only the lower leaves are yellow some spots, slight red stem, and tips seem to be browning. Do they look stretchy? And can you rais seedlings under a 400w MH?

HI SUPER -
Have you been pH-ing your water?
It is impossible to know what is wrong, without first making sure you have the correct pH...

If your ina city chances are your water is Ph7 but the only way to tell is by testing it.
Ph is extramly important to solving problems and making you a better grower.
I have had similar results with my seedlings at that stage using proMix. Is that what your growing in? Or peat moss with Perlite?
the last batch of seeds I have started didn't have this problem once I started to add a full On Micronutrient Suppliment. Im not saying this is your problem but its a place to start.. And they should get a little food I mean a little soon....
Once you check you PH first then you can properlly hunt for solutions.

Superfly.. when a plant is young and it is already having problems... It is very likely a pH issue.. (or it has been over fertilized)
Without proper pH a plant can not absorb (eat food) nutrients.
