Everyones opinion will be different,but learning to pack a nice bowl is an appreciated skill,and takes patience,and practice. I prefer to grind my bud before packing,so what I usually do is grind up the weed im gonan use for the evening and just pull what i need from grinder and leave the rest in grinder till needed. Find a lil plug nut or use a glass screen depending on which on my pieces I will be using and just take a decent sized pinch stick it in there and lightly press it down.You dont want to compact it so much that you get no air through it otherwise you will just get frustrated.
