I play in the eat pa jaw league. Although I live in western ny, all the feilds who host our tourneys are no more than 1 1/2 hr drive from where I live.
Heres a couple group pics of the first indoor tourney I played at in 04. It was a three man tourney at JAW ltd in erie pa. I am the one in the blue diablo jersey.

I used to play piantball for 12 years team and everything, then I played pro airsoft and I never went back to the paintball feild again, I sold 5 tipman 98 and a whole bunch of extras like armor, ammo. After playing airsoft the way few here in america play their was no turning back. Airsoft im plenments everyaspect of real war combate from real wepons, airsupport (helcopters, rpgs, atv's, amor transport, tank, anti armor wepons, mines, gernandes, etc,). In airsoft snipers must be used and front line tactics as well, Scermishes are everything from extract to conflict recration, We also play an elite ruling here only out in the open these rules rarley are played in CQB. Elite rules make all members of the team medics, in which you have 30 seconds after your team mate falls to drag him/her to saftey and give life back to them buy an uniterrupted 13 second count. They gamae is very live and intense I have seen kids and grown ups alike run outta the coars once they realize a group of pepole is trying to hunt them, play or not airsoft is dangerous and without armor and head grear you will be giong to the hospital, we use guns which shoot in acess of 600 feet per sec. and they always punture the skin even at great distances, the rounds are not soft infact are very hard and the sniper rounds are the same size of a paintball round 8mm and they do not break and are also shot at up too 900 ft per second. Here is where I play and some bigger scermishes.

I have played a few times and loved it but it is too damn expensive. I can easily shoot over 100 bucks worth of balls in a day and in the end I would of rather bought a quarter of some goods and been high all week. But when I'm older and have a real job that can afford a nice gun and a few cases of paint every weekend I'll probably start going agian.
Rules of Michael Scott School of Business:
-You have to play to win, but you also have to win to play.
-Adapt, react, readapt, act.
-Image is everything.
-Saftey first, i.e. don\'t burn the building down.

I'm thinking about getting a steel rod the right diameter to fit tightly inside the barrel of a paintball gun, and drill a hole down the middle to fit 00 buckshot. I have a friend who works as a machinist who says he can do it, no problem. Anyone have an idea what the velocity of this would be? Obviously this could be increased by applying heat to the co2 or using a gas which builds more pressure, but I don't know how well the gun would hold up under increased pressure. Any thoughs on this, or the legality of all this?
