my brotherinlaw plays this paintball you are speaking of, and he takes it very very seriously.....
do the little balls hurt when they hit you? does it make a mess? is it hard to clean up? i have never even seen it here in this part of canada..i know it is big in texas....

you have so much adrenaline going that you sometimes cant even feel the paint hitting you..
its easy to clean up too...
thats why when you play in tournaments like i do, there is a bunch of referees out there that watch you VERY close to see if you get hit, because a lot of people cheat in this game (when you are playing for a grand, come on)
ive wiped a hit in a finals game in front of the entire sideline and 3 head referees... it was awesome! lol
check out some of those videos surrey

I ball, but here in colorado the only really good teams are Denver Altitude, CO shooters, and Elevation.

the paint is pretty much water soulable (it's sweet too lol... ti's non-toxic... the coloring is mostly from food coloring, the coating is the same stuff on benadryl casules... special form of gelatin) not hard at all to clean up...
you could literally soak a shirt in the stuff for days, wash the shirt and it'd come out looking like it did just before throwing it in the paint.

My husband and his friends are really into it. They go out in the woods and play war games. They won't let the females go (fuckers)

go from cover to cover (hiding spots).. but don't seek cover in obvious places...
don't fire until you have a clear shot (paintballs break easy and the 'foooooooom' sound will instnatly give you away)
don't stick too close together... like shooting fish in a barrell...
don't be aggresive.. don't stay in one place but don't just go charging here and there... find cover, scout for a few seconds, listen for sound, then move again....
 do it right and you can't lose.

Thanks for the tips. I think it is BS too. I am a greay shot and am little and can tuck into hiding places. Maybe they are worried I would win
