What you could do is light the smoke for them so the lighter never leaves your hand.

Come to think of it, this question is so easy to figure out on your own I don't see why someone would ask it.

I have a friend/main smoking partner who always seems to jack my lighter whenever we smoke. He has gotten to the point where he always ends up with it regardless of who has the last hit.

The other night he bummed a cigarette off of me and kept my lighter. Not much later I was going to smoke a bowl before running some errands and had the bowl packed and ready and my lighter was no where to be found. It's not intentional but has gotten rather bothersome. Any tips or suggestions how to train my friend to not be such a lighter thief? Anyone else seem to have this problem with a friend?

if it happens every time, it is intentional. you dont just keep other peoples things every time you touch them on accident. occasionally you an accidentally take someones lighter, but if it happens all the time it is intentional. bear in mind he isnt going to say hes trying to steal your lighter. i have a friend who does the exact same shit. the kid must have a a p[ile of lighters in his house. the key is just saying can i have my lighter back without calling him out on stealing it otherwise he may deny and sticky situation can ensue
