My oldest plant is dying... any ideas?
Basically my oldest HOG plant looks like its slowly dying, i thought it was over-watered, and i still do.. but when it dried out it carried on wilting, i did give it alot of nutes, but it hardly burnt, just the tips went brown, i gave it clean water, but it hasnt helped, if anything its worse, im pretty sure its got somethin to do with pH, but i have no tester, im gettin one as soon as possible (on my birthday i hope) but thats too far to wait (24th feb) im worried its gonna be a stick by then...

if ANYONE has experienced this before, or if anyone has any ideas.. im open to suggestions...plz help...lol
heres some pics... they should help...

That first pic looks like mine when my PH is locked up. I notice it takes a few waterings to get it back on track (you didn't say if you flushed, or just watered). If it were me, which it has been twice in my first grow, I would continue to water with R/O water until you get that PH tester. I got mine in the pool/hot tub chemical section for 10.00. Good Luck, Bree.

cool, well ill have to get a tester, i took it out of the pot earlier, washed the soil off of the roots in a bowl of water, and put it in drier soil, the dry/wet balance has been really screwed up recently, so im gonna let it smooth out a little, i dont exactly mind if it dies (i need space), but id rather save it than wait again..

Hey AB, I meant reverse osmosis water.....I'd imagine it is just as easy to buy there as it is here....little water machines at the supermarket. GL

It needs a flush badly to get toxic salts out and reduce the stress on the plant...
Also when you flush it, add some Serenade or other bacillus subtilis fungicide to it.
That plant looks like it's got the root rot... if you don't treat it, all the flushing in the world won't do a thing.[SIZE=\"1\"][COLOR=\"Blue\"]Men make their own luck. Children accept the luck that life throws at them. -Stinkyattic

Flush flush flush! If you can get distilled or RO water I would....AD check your ph. You can get really simple ph testers at any pet store that will do in a pinch. SAVE THE HOGS!!
