How do you guys smoke?

i have a question about smoking out of a bowl
how do i know when all my weed is smoked up cause i have this tiny bowl and when i was smoking it looked lik it was all ash any suggestions on how to tell if it is all smoked up???

Get a key or something a flip it over. Thats what I always do and there is 99% of the time at least two hits left. Some people I know like to press it down with their finger and just smash all the ash or something, I don't do that so I don't really know what they're doing.

I was just wondering, how many of you follow smoking etiquette...(puff puff pass, passing to the left, whoever rolls it sparks it, and so on). i find that a lot of people disregard this rule, epsecially puff puff pass. I always see people puff puff puff, one more little puff, one last big puff pass.
