    Prune's New Born

Ok heres my lil girl *Hope
I was layin with her earlier, cleaned out the WHOLE closet in honor of her sisters hopefully to come soon. got the ok with the wife. WOOT!..

    I'm researching like crazy now.

I threw some lines in photoshop because I had slight yellowing of the tips. I thougth that to be some overwatering symptoms so I let her slurp what she had and made sure she was drainin ok. opened the doors and let her breathe, and today she got her first bath and light feeding. using a 0.02 % solution.

lol, you're loving it plenty man. Looks like a really healthy plant ,nice sized pot to as transplanting and root bound plants can cause problems. Yellowing of bottom fan leaves is common in the seedling/early veg stage, to much nitrogen is the culprit usually. What kind of soil or soiless mix did you use?

    Prune's New Born

    4 Weeks
    Unknown Strain

This was a loner seed in an oz that I purchased a while back. One day I found it and threw it in paper towels.. And she was born..

She's growing well. Seems like more time passes than actually does. Wierd.

Only light I have so far is 2 24" cool tube grow lights.

    1. Worried about helicopter infrared flyover with hps bulbs..
    2. Worries about electricity prices with hps and them catching on

    Should I be??

When should I start flowering. Some peoples gardens are so tall I'm amazed, others growing hydro like UG have smaller plants when they begin flowering.. When is the right time? Or is there.

Also note in the second smaller pic. The rogue 8th leaf.. That a defect?
My lights went out one night I was gone, came back to my clock blinking 4 o clock. so it was atleast a 4 hour period till i got back to fix them.. Hope I didn't throw anything off in its cycle.

Other than that its been 24 / 7 lighting.

    Update:

Trying to be very careful, started training the stem to straighten up, gently with baby cotton thread afterward gave it some sprays. Told her she was the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Took pictures of her. I think it helps, she seems to perk up for photo shoots hehe. Anyway..

Ok so learning alot as the days pass. I've adopted the Bodom Box.
So far I've purchased the foil tape, 2 49gal tubs. got my hole in the top, need to get my fans. Man I learned about this box quickly in the first few hours..

    1. Make sure you got that intake exhaust BEFORE you close it up.
    2. Humidity will skyrocket with no holes lol. I'm sure this is a duh for you guys.
    3. Everything is stable and normal, had a few spottys on the leaves so I haven't watered in 2 days. She looks like she's recovering.

I'm 5 weeks in Veg state.

    LIGHTING

Using the same lights I was using before 2 24" flors. I was at the store today and looking at those small cfls there were 3 kinds, warm, something else and "day light" which was the highest notch in the blue spectrum. I'm reading that plants will like the red light when I start to flower. Should I say hell with it and follow Bodom in getting the cfls day light or get something different?
I was going to buy sockets and those day lights but man the sockets were pricy and didn't match the 1.29 on the tag in the isle, so I said fuck it and moved on. I also made a friend at the petstore. I was asking for that kitty litter that someone used, think it was fresh step with the blueish silca for carbon filter. I use my true air carbon filter for now. Constructed the inner part of the carbon filter, couldn't find a damn 6" cap at Home depot. I'll look tommarow or make my own from something. Thanks Bodom for the info bro, you're the man. All you guys are great help so thanks in advance.

Anyway my friend at the store figured I was growing, so we exchanged emails and he offered to trade clones someday. I agreed he was a nice guy, of course I'll be cautious and smoke out with him a few times before any exchange takes place but he claims to be growing a certain strain a buddy of his paid a bundle for and he's excited at the look of them, I'll try to get him to sign up on the boards here. He showed me some cool dual floro lights one was white the other was really blue, looked neat and I could see how it would feed the plant more of what it wanted. After I get a job lol, I'll level up on my lighting. I was looking at hps as well, think I might get a 250 or 400 but I wanna find a low energy ballast, and I'll only try to use it for flowering. I'm still paranoid about cops out here and the spike in energy.

Anyway here is what I got so far. I'm gonna add 2 more lights and have a strip from that hole in the middle, OR go with the cfls maybe 4 to add other spectrum hopefully. either way its about 20 dollars more. The mini cfls run a bit warm though, warmer than my tubes. I dun know. And then foil whats left of the blue parts. Till next time =D

Flowering the plant now. Took clones from her the other night since I found out she's a girl. Took 3 days to tell her sex from 12/12 its now been about a week into flowering. I'm back from my restriction from cannabis.com, lol don't ask. I might get banned again.. We'll leave whatevers to whatevers. Got some good work done since I wasn't gluing my eyes to this board 24/7

Note: I think after the learning stops, people tend to look for other avenues to ease their lack of feeling accomplished and credited. For instance promoting drama. Cease to complain was all I was sayin... Cease... To... Complain..

    Peace.

Plants are doin great yall.. Got a great idea for a stealth clone box. I'm going to pull this one off inside an old wooden bar. I'll post pics as I construct it.

By the way..I've learned that potting soil blows.

Got a Question... What do you guys make of this light..??

eBay: 400 Watt Halide/HPS Alternative 105 Watt CFL Grow Light (item 140087954328 end time Feb-22-07 09:26:59 PST)
