first timer need some help

they will start showing between 1 to 2 weeks and remember no light leaks.also you start flower when they reach 8' for sativa and 12' for indica

bud bud ding ding Reviewed by bud bud ding ding on 01-30-2007. first timer need some help ok so ive been growing these plants, this fri will be 3 weeks there all 6-10 inches tall, they started from seed, grew under 2 2 1/2 flouro lights they grew fine, so now i transplanted them into 8 ounce pots, there under 2 100w halogens i have them high enough that they dont burn, and the 2 flouro are int he middle i have 12 plants due to i figured half would be male, now i know the spectrum on halogens is wrong and the flouros arent strong enough i was just wondering how well these will do Rating: 5

how broad are your leaves are they broad and fat or real long like hands

if they are i would say your dealing with sativa and there gonna strech during flower................oooooooo yeah

well really the rule of thumb is an indica will at least double in height and a sativa will triple or better so if you have sativa put it in flower about 8'' to 10'' and it should stay under 3 feet high.all marijuana streches when flower is induced but how much depends on your strain and genetics.

when growing with fluorescents, height is not as relevant as number of nodes.. There is no reason to grow a plnat over 4-6 inches before flowering when ONE is growing with LIMITED light..
