I smoke to get high. Pure and simple. It also relaxes me and levels me out sometimes. I'm your stereotypical pothead. Dropped out, lost my job recently, and I'm pretty lazy. But wait. I do this out of choice. I like being lazy. I hate school. But wait. I'm not a complete dumbass either. I'm working on getting my GED. I'm working on getting my drivers license. I also like to just sit around and smoke weed. Where I live, there's not much else to do. I have no interest in putting "engines" together, or any kind of bullcrap like that. Since when did putting engines together become a major accomplishment? If mechanics go on strike, then I'll learn how.

Anyway, if it were legal, I'd be so stoned all the time...

The only people it would be less fun for are those kids who smoke it to look cool and rebellious, and really, they aint true smokers.

If it were legal it wouldnt make it un cool or any cooler than it was before.

My friend was smoking here and there (we were like 14). I simply asked him...what's a better feeling, busting a nut or being high. He said being high....so I smoked with him...and I liked it. I didn't do it to impress him, or because it was 'a fad'...like Lippa said...that's just silly. I wanted to feel the feeling that he said was better than busting a nut..pretty simple.

And for the question...I don't think much would change for me..except it would be cool to buy trees at the store. I wouldn't grow it when I can just go to the store lol...you don't brew you're own alcohol when someone else has already done all the work...you just give them a little cash and you're on your way!

As for the police and the whole getting caught thing...lol...that's the farthest thing from my mind now so it wouldn't effect my mindstate in that respect if it were legal. We always smoke outside in the summer...at the park...walking down the street...noone cares, because it's really not a big deal. Gambling is illegal in most places, but you don't see law enforcement breaking up office football pools...same thing with marijuana...they don't look at it...they look past it. At least around here they do.
