    Howdy CO DE,

    I wouldn't use anything less than a 5 gallon pot,because you don't want the mother to become root-bound. I've heard that 10 gallon size,aint too big,if ya plan on keeping the mother for more than one year. It depends on how much space ya have and if you can keep the mother seperate and in veg stage.
