so i was reading a few of the death metal threads and decided to start a power metal one, anyone here into power metal? My favorite power metal band right now is probably Sonata Arctica, i also dig Kamelot, Blind Gaurdian, Falconer, Hammerfall, and of course classics like Iced earth or Maiden.... theres a ton more but you get the point, what are your favorite power metal bands?

Dragonforce is OK at best, i really dont understand the following they have gotten.... sure they can play balls fast but they write the same fucking song over and over and their singer is one of the pooer(is that even a word) Powere metal singers out there.... they bland me to death if i try and listen to them for more than 15-20 min at a time

Manowar is not only a bad ass power metal band, but they also hold the world record for loudest dB level of any concert ever. I get down with some power metal, but not much.
