How to keep Pot fresh for an extended period of time
Hey all;
I'm leaving the country for 7 months. I have some pretty good stuff that I want to wrap up and squirrel away for the time to have when I come back. Using the freezer is not an option as ...well if something happens to me ..over there...then I don't want it to be found when the house is gone through.
So, I have heard that putting an orange peel in it to keep it moist works, but I'm wondering if it will be all dried out and useless when I come back, even if i wrap it up good in plastic.
Does pot go bad??
Any suggestions?

I wouldnt put an orange peel in the bag for that long as it will cause mold which is VERY BAD for you to inhale. Do not do that. Otherwise I am not sure what you could do. I am interested to know as well. Sorry I couldnt be more help, I just know the orange peel would be a bad idea

mason jars work best i think, ive had weed in there for 4-6 months at a time and it stayed good. Plastic wont keep it fresh for long at all.

vaccuum seal it, then hide it in the best spot you can, like cut square out of the bible and hide it in there, then hide that in a drawer, then cover it with a shirt
or something else, but to keep it fresh, mos def vaccuum seal

Agreed, it's the best way I think. Get one of the rectangular marinator so you can seal it over, and over again. No need to waste baggies, which crush your poor herb anyways. It's a worthy investment, and I paid $130 for my super duper deluxe 2000+ blabla sealer(foodsaver brand)

I quess my question is - does Pot go bad? - vacum sealingis not an option anymore - left it too late and it's not enough pot to invest in a vacum sealer,
does Pot lose it's potency or THC content over 6-7 months if it's dried out?
thanks for the help
