good boy cuz any other wise (well maybe not about something this little) that would only come back to bite you in the ass... and the 'officals' would bring up "this was never brought up before us.... so it has nothing to do with concern for blah blah blah"

doesn't take a whole lot to change things, especially something this small... present your case and if they refuse it, then carry on

btw, just incase, it shoudln't take no damn month for them to hear your case... it takes a bit of persistance sometimes... but if you're genuinely concerned... a lil persistance is nothing.
