cleaning bong bowl

I need help cleaing my bong bowl. I tried scraping it then using the salt/ alcohol method nd it barely did anything. The thing is so clogged that sometimes it barely even hits. Im trying to not go out and get a new bowl cuz im a strugglign college student lol but i may have to. Anyone know any good ways to clean a bong bowl

What I do in order to clean out the bowl, is just use an alchohol swab

For the inside where all the shit is built up on the side, I put it in boiling water on low for about 15 minutes. Just don't forget about it and leave it in there like I did. One time I left it in there for an hour and it cracked all over

i just get a new bowl, but the best luck ive had is using a torch and burning it out.

When your talking about months and months of build-up, the alcohol will take a LONG time to work. I smoke out of the same piece all the time, and when it gets crusty, I just toss it in a jar of 95% isopropyl alcohol after the last bowl of the night. Let it sit as long as you can. After 12-14 hours of soaking, EVERYTHING will scrub right off with an old toothbrush (make sure you keep it wet w/ alcohol), and a pipecleaner dipped in alcohol works great on the stem. :bong:

let it soak in a glass with a few tablets of efferdent,

in a few hours it will look brand new

Take a cotton ball and wet it generously with rubbing alcohol so it's soaked. Then sprinkle enough salt on it to cover the ball. Then scrub on the inside of the bowl.

The alcohol/salt mix will drip downward and start eating through the gunk in the stem. Take a Q-tip and pour some alc. on that. Push it into the stem first downwards from the bowl, then upwards. Push it through enough times and be sure the cotton is scrubbing the glass well. You may need to repeat this if the buildup is bad.

The key to removing heavy gunk is the salt.

denatured alcohol best glass cleaner around. nothing else needed. you can soak and swab, takes hardly anytime to disolve. Water clean up.
