New grower with questions about chili peppers?

Hello like I said we are new to growing and have read alot of threads about growing setups and we have decided to use the two tubs from walmart Bodom Children Of has the scoup on these with lights ets, anyway I would like to start with chili peppers for a month or two starting new seeds everyweek and see how the turn out, my question is what kind of soil should I start with? etc, basically i need the basic info about nutirents soil lighting what kind of pots or paper towel to start them etc, I wanna grow my own but wanna get good at growing before I try good seeds seeing as how I have never ever had a plant or anything my whole life lol seems odd. I guess you could say this is going to be my new hobby in the winter, you can grow these in your house in the winter right? thanks so much for all the info guys

As long as you have the correct lighting and a place to put them it is easy to grow peppers inside.

Do the same lighting schedule as weed. 18 hours on for vegetating. When it gets bigger and you want to start producing peppers. Switch to 12 hours on- 12 hours off.

I grow peppers and tomato's inside my house, in fact that is all that I am growing inside. It is easy and a good way to learn how to grow.
