xbox? xbox360? ps3? wii?

I was thinking of getting a new system lately but there are so many out there and I'm not quite sure which one is best. for those you who have played or have some of these systems maybe you can give me some suggestions and help me make a decision.

I had my eye on an xbox but I was hoping for some input on the few systems out there.

the original xbox was an awesome system. and worth every penny. but i suggest buying a 360. u wont regret buying it. nothing against the Wii tho, that system is awesome and worth the money aswell. iv played the PS3 and got nothing from it.theres nothing special about it and well u wont be able to find once since they dont make them for the time being. as for the graphics the 360 rapes every system hands down.

heres the skinny.... i agree with station fo sho.... get a 360 so badass if u get one i recommend Call Of Duty 3 is like the best game out in my opinoin and Gears of war.... besides who can wait for Halo 3? and the graphics? need i say more? :thumbsup:

i own a wii. i use it to check the weather and the news..because i can do it from bed. wii sports is amazingly fun, especially with friends. i own 2 games, Twilight Princess (amazing game) and Red Steel, its ok..the controls take a little getting used to and the graphics are a little cheap. but overall its a really good system.

Ooh, an old thread but to follow up, in case anyone was wondering, I ended up getting a Wii. My sister and I we woke up at 5:30 am to get to the mall at 6:00am to be able to line up outside the store. Luckily there were a couple people there before us who were smart enough to have written all the people in a piece of paper in the order they arrived so my sister and I were down for number 8. I bought Banna monkey blitz and Paper Mario. Wii is actually pretty fun

xbox 360 HELL NO.

get a ps3 their a worthy investment.
ill admit that rite now the 360 blows the ps3 out of the water... cheaper games cheaper consolelots of things.. but the 360 has been out for about a year so give the ps3 a good few months and the 360 will be nothing compared to it.

wii if you like kiddy games (sorry the games on it are still shit...)

ps3 if you're a fan of sony, want a blue ray player, have alot of money to waste etc etc...

i had a reply, but i'm just not gonna stir up this whole debate again...

i'll just say ps3 is nothing that everyone's been trying to downgrade it to... it's not some shitty unstable system, and the pricing is actually pretty fucking fair if you consider it has a blue ray player (blue ray players aren't cheap, and a blue ray burner for pc is easily equivelant in price to the ps3)

A gaming machine shouldn't cost $600, I don't care what it can do. Frankly after dealing with last gens shoddy PS2 hardware, broken promises and bad mistake after bad mistake they've made with the PSP and PS3. I wouldn't trust anything Sony shoves out the door. For $200 less money you can get the 360 that as far as gaming goes is just as good as PS3 claims to be and has a much enhanced experience with Xbox Live abilites and Achievements. Really if you have 360 and a Wii you have no need of any other gaming machine.
