I havent seen "Fistfull of Dollars" but "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" is one of my favorite movies... it's so well done, and the Ennio Morricone soundtrack... the icing on the cake.

Im not a fan of the itallian or the older stuff. But a lot of the newer western movies are a thrill. 310 to yuma and seraphim Falls are dynamite.

I was never into Westerns.. but for some reason as i was flipping channels i stopped on the good the bad and the ugly. It made the world seem so vast and endless, full of adventure. Everything about it was Epic and everyone a legend. I havent bothered to try other spag's but i own all the classic eastwood movies. I'll have to check out some others that ya'll have mentioned.

Anybody here a fan of Spaghetti Westerns?
I always thought spaghetti westerns were the old black and white westerns where no matter what the story was about,a cowboy wound up singing a song at some point of the movie...
Some of my favorite westerns are-
Angel and the badman
The Cowboys
Pale Rider
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Young Guns 1+2
Purgatory
My favorite western of all time is The Long Riders with David Carradine,Keith Carradine,Robert Carradine,James Keach,Stacy Keach,Dennis Quaid,Randy Quaid

Spaghetti westerns are westerns made with Italian (and possibly French and Spanish)money and filmed in Spain or southern Italy.
These are three of the best of that type of movie.
The Great Silence Grande silenzio, Il (1968)
Once Upon a Time in the West C'era una volta il West (1968)
Django Django (1966)
