Senate approves new Iraq commander
YOU PEOPLE BEEN HAD! The Dems vote DOES NOT reflect the position they preach or were supposedly elected on.
Are you asking for a bet on 1000 for the Bagdad clean-up? Make it interesting if that's the case.......LMAO! How about a thread stating how great and wise the other person is.......REALLY play it up........LOL. I know it would kill me as much as it would you!
Consider it..............
Consider it a deal if I live that long, who knows these days! The Democrats had no choice. they can not stop the idiot from going ahead with his crackpot plan, so why not give the troops the best leader available. This was a choice of voting no and looking like you don't support the troops or voting yes and taking criticizm from people like you. To me it's a no brainer, if you cant stop the asshole, then give the troops the best man you can and hope that when he finds out (like he said he would) he tells the idiot (Bush) that we can't win a military war in the midst of a 6 million man civil war! Or look for a suck ass that will say anything Bush wants like the last ten commanders!Balls in your court 'O' great and wise one~LOL~medicinal Reviewed by medicinal on . Senate approves new Iraq commander Jan 26, 2007 ā?? WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Friday confirmed Army Gen. David Petraeus as the next commander of U.S. forces in Iraq even though he supports a boost in American troops that many senators oppose. Widely regarded as one the army's brightest commanders, Petraeus, who was confirmed on a vote of 81-0, told senators earlier this week that the situation in Iraq was "dire" but not hopeless. Petraeus, who has already completed two Iraq tours, will be charged with Rating: 5Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
