anyway, with small pipes its a good idea to crush/ crumble up the bud a little to take advantage of the airflow. with bongs , you do need to use more lung power which increases the airflow to the weed, but the crumbling/ grinding works with bongs too.

if you do this make sure you use a plug nug or a screen unless you want a mouth full of ash and/or burning weed
