Well I should have my VaporStar tomorrow. The night I bought the VaporStar I had ordered a cheapo off of Ebay for $13.99 to my front door.

the Pipeorizer:

eBay: Hugegrins Vaporizers Pipeorizerā?¢ portable vaporizer (item 200078353311 end time Feb-15-07 16:47:32 PST)

Well let me tell you it's anything but cheap performing. This little grenade rocks the house. Imagine my surprise when on my 2nd draw I get a big white misty vapor cloud when I exhale. I was blown away. To put it to you simply I've hit it 50 Times and only lightly chard the herb 5 times. With practice that will drop and I knew my error each time I did it(too large flame on a already dried bowl) I never chard a first hit(moist).

Yes it's cheap but sometimes simplicity is brilliant. All you do is screw this on to a standard loaded pipe bowl, I bought one for $10 at a local head shop, and boom your vaporizing on the ultra cheap. His feedback convinced me they had an above average design and at $13.99 to my door I thought what the hell I'll toss it in the trash if it sucks. It turned out to make portablity an issue of the past. I can walk with it, go into another room to watch TV all just like a pipe, and key here is geting vapors is a breeze. From the discription of others about having to learn how to vape I thought it would be much much harder.

The Vaporstar cost me $50 so we'll see how it matches up against a direct competetor(50% the cost when you include buying a new pipe) in regards to the fact the are both lighter heated and use the same prinicple. It's going to be very interesting now that the Pipeorizer has proven itself so fast. The key to the Pipeorizer is it has a side air inlet that mixes cold air with the flame heated air going into the top, and I think it allows for very nice control over airflow/draw adjustments so you can really varry the temp around the herbs. It's also Crome Plated Aluminum not crome plated steel. My hope is the Vaporstar will provide even a better mixture of heated airflow over the herbs, but eitherway other than the butane issue I'm going to have Vapors at will from now on. From a cold loaded bowl in the Pipeorizer I can have a good vape hit in 10 seconds and from a heated bowl around 6-8 seconds. Not bad at all for $13.99+ pipe. If anyone here decides to buy one from him don't get the full one peice pipe it gets to hot to hold, where if you have your own pipe its never an issue(small thin 4in pipes may be, I have a 6 inch pipe). Thats another thing that shocked me while the Pipeorizer gets hot it's not TOO hot and you can quickly unscrew it with bare hand to reload a bowl, it really surprized me when after vapeing I reached up and touched it and it was luke warm. After 5 strait bowls it gets HOT but thats a shitload of herb that one person won't do in one 15 minute session, two-three people smoking out of it is a different story its going to get REAL HOT. So far I've never used anything but my fingers to remove it for a new bowl of herbs, but it has got to the limit of what my fingers are willing to put up with heatwise but by then(fifth bowl) I didn't want any more and it cools reasonably fast when not in use. This is the type of thing you can buy 2-3 of and give one to your friends as a little gift and they'll be thanking you.

So next up we'll see how the VaporStar does, I already know it will rock from the video, but for those that don't have $50 or a creditcard you can grab this off ebay knowing its a portable little monster that does its job very very well - As in Big White Vapor hits with only 1%-0% charing once you have it down. Like I said for me 2nd draw = Massive Vapor, First 50 hits only lightly chard 5 hits and I can tell you I know I'll get way better at it, I know now that I'll learn how to use it perfectly. Its also the most portable of them all, if you carry a pipe you can carry a "Real Vaporizer" with this little killer.

Thats how we benifit each other I wanted to pass this killer little unit on to those reading this thread.
