Anyway...I'm about to watch 3 now...we shall see.
The saw series have def cleaned up pretty well, but I'm assuming you're talking about $100M oppening weekend. 100m isn't very much at all for gross figures of a holly blockbuster. They prolly spent twice that marketing the 1st movie alone.

Saw is one of the recent 'net popular' movies. They get spread around the net and accross message boards and it gets hyped up as the best movie ever even before a trailer is put together. Also, the writers and creators of the movies are known to browse the message boards looking for how they can make it better. I think this is one of the reasons it's done well. I'm just not big on sequels I guess unless it's all one whole story (like kill bill or LOTR).
benagain Reviewed by benagain on . Saw III I finally seen Saw III and whoa...I don't know, words can't explain it. All I know is you gotta watch it high, maybe not. Some probably can get into this movie sober but I can't get into fiction when I'm sober because the fact that it's fake always makes me unattracted to it lol...anyways that movie really made me think about life and it was really a movie that really made me cringe. I couldn't believe it because movies usually don't get any emotion from me unless it's really good but out of Rating: 5
