THIS is the reason why politics stays here. There was a vote in here a while back asking members if they wanted to have the same guidelines as the other forums. The polls stated no, that due to the nature of politics that we/politics should have a bit more slack. OTHER FORUMS such as the lounge does not hold to this flaming rule and MOST of the comments in here would result in a 7 day vacation.

Like it or not........thats how it is. Now if someone in here would like to open a new poll asking is we SHOULD follow the same guidelines I'd be more than happy to go along with the result. I really don't think that MOST of the posters in politics would enjoy going by the same guidelines.

ALSO, it has been very well stated that when ANY mod is in this forum debating politics their ass is up for grabs like anyone elses. If we are in here MODERATING it is a completely different story.

Have a good one!

The Iraqi people are against it. The Iraqi government is against it. Can a single 'man" force a nation to fight a war it does not want to fight, expand a war it does not want to expand ? If he can, is that nation any longer a democracy in any meaningful sense ? Didnt Saddam think he could do what he wanted too regardless of world opinion? And wasnt it the USA who Rating: 5
