Differences between King James' Bible and mine, which I have received as a gift. I don't know what mine is called. It's titled "The Book".

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

K.J.-Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Mine- Then the LORD God said, "The people have become as we are, knowing everything, both good and evil. What if they eat the fruit of the tree of life? Then they will live forever!

K.J.- Luke 20:9 - Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

The one I have- Luke 20:9 - Now Jesus turned to the people again and told them this story: "A man planted a vineyard, leased it out to tenant farmers, and moved to another country to live for several years."

Why is the King James' Version not quoted?
