What?? Lost In Translation? That was a fantastic movie. Of course you have to like that type of more serious, "artsy" movies but there's a difference between not liking amovie and it being a bad movie.

The worst movie I ever saw was called Viva Le Amour. Despite the title it was actually a Chinese (Taiwanese) movie. I can speak Chinese and every now and then I'll watch one of the more serious movies from over there. Anyhow, this movie was some bizarre, twisted voyeuristic view of 4 or 5 miserable people. The crazy thing about it was that in the entire 2 or so hours, there was only about 10 minutes total of dialogue. It just sucked me in though because I kept expecting something to happen, kept expecting someone to start talking. Just when someone would start, and I'd think "ok, finally" they'd shut up again. So I just kept waiting, then there's like a 5 minute scene of some chick crying by a river and then the credits start rolling. WTF?? Of course, if I hadn't been baked, I'm sure I would have turned it off after the first 10 minutes
