    Beginner question....

Yes, I'm pretty new to the sport. Started a few months ago. I'm wondering. Is it better to grind up your buds really small before smoking them? If so, why?

Well even if it was...I wouldn't be able to because my piece don't have a pipe screen.

    Beginner question....

if you have a grinder, just a single turn will usually do the trick....basically mate, its a matter of preference.

    Beginner question....

If you have a pipe it doesn't make a difference, in fact if you have a glass pipe or something like that with no screen, ad you mentioned, then you can clog the hole and won't be able to draw smoke, I did that a few hours ago smoking up some shake I had left over. But if your gonna roll a joint it's sometimes better to grind it up a little but as higher4hockey there said it's mostly a matter of preference.

    Beginner question....

if you grind it up you can get more pot into a bowl and it burns better. I think you might be able to buy packs of screens where you buy rolling papers but I could be wrong about that.
