and as far as the 23% that say playstation is better are probably still playing ps2.....

i wouldn't allow a playstation in my house simply because the original xbox killed. i mean killed ps2.........graphics.......online gameplay.......and ...HALO...

i suggest listing your ps3 on ebay and converting to 360.....then you will agree w/ the majority and you can be on the right team.

sony has only had one recall in the entire history of their systems... and it was only certain power adapters for the slim ps2's.... that's it...

i remember watching tv and people standing out in 2 lines infront of toys r us and shit when 360 released... one line was trying to return the damn thing for an exchange... they were turned away and forced to send it in... granted, it wasn't some extremely high number of people's systems screwing up... but it was more than enough that shoulda clued yal in that microsoft doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to gaming consoles.... xbox is literally teh only system i have EVER seen that has errors and problems... unless it's from user abuse... or accidents... let me rephrase.. they're the only systems i've ever seen come out of a box and not work.... all the way back to NES...

and for like maybe the fourth time now? i don't like halo.... it was fun for 15 minutes adn after that it was just boring..

does anyone ever see the one + year headstart? or do you just conviently forget that part? of course ps3 isn't going to be equal in games, or online games, or online players yet... this shit just barely came out in the US... 360 has been around since the ending of 2005....

btw, i haven't even got my ps3 yet...

also, of course regular xbox was supperior in graphics and what not over ps2... they had newer technology to use then when the ps2 was designed.... but if you go back a page, you'll plainly see ps3 has a bit higher specs than 360...

nearly everyone i know that had a game system had xbox because it was the newest on th emarket and what not... you know what else i saw? i saw all the time sthey had to open it up and mess with it cuz of one of those errors i linked to above, my brother having to send his into the company because it didn't work outta the box...

atleast when i pull a playstation out of a box i KNOW it's going to work.

sony on the other hand never replaced my ps2 so i bought an x box fixed my own ps2 and will never buy any game system they ever release.

On a lighter note, i feel that ps3 just becuase its been out a year less then the 360 i feel should still have a good variety of games, they have had long enough to make game, i dont expect them to have the same ammount of games, but there is so many more in production and ready to be released just for the 360, i mean im waiting on GuitarH. and halo 3 right now. Not to mention crack down i want but cant afford, I truley feel bad for sony they fucked something up, the overpriced pos they call the ps3, they wanted something great in videos games, they got it, but no one wants it. 600 bucks for a gaming console is way to much money, i got the 360 for 500 with a extra controler and 2 games + rechargable batts. So if u look at it from a standpoint on price alone then i would say microsoft is better for the build, i mean ppl say they hate them but they put out a cheaper and apparently more popular product, i would say fuck sony for trying to make something thats just way too much money for video games. Sony is just a half ass corporation. If you google, you'll see that not only are they lacking in the game department, but their other products don't always pass the test either.

It's true Microsoft is the same way, I mean Windows... christ.

It's just that this console generation, Microsoft outperformed Sony. Sony's specs may be a little hire, but the price and selecting are just on Microsoft's side. Who knows, this may change in the coming years. These console generations usually last awhile. In the long run, the PC is the best gaming platform. However, a good gaming PC is far more costly than any gaming system. Mine is cheap and it cost $850.

Microsoft is fine, ive run windows for years now with minor problems that were my own fault, its not there fault people crack there programs and hack into systems, u cant blame them for that, my windows sp2 runs perfect, u need to have all the control and protection u can get, its a highly targeted program dont forget.

my brother didn't buy an xbox, it was given to him by our mother... he wanted a ps2, he probably woulda went to trade it in, but our mom woulda pitched a huge fucking bitch fit over it... so he didn't say anything... it sat in his room after the first couple of days, never got used or played... yet when he came over here he'd always be on my ps2...

*off topic for a second* the reason xp sp2 works virtually so well with little fuck ups, is that they've been constantly fixing bugs on it since like 2003... pop in vista, it's so new, it's filled to the brim with bugs and problems, it'll probably be a year or so before the majority of the kinks get worked out.

did you actually ask everyoen in the store if they just didn't want the ps3.. or is there a good chance they can't afford it... YES sony FUCKED UP with those prices... the price of the system is goign to really hurt their sales... i wouldn't be suprised if xbox sells nearly double of the ps3... but that doesn't mean no one wants one... it'd be pretty hard to convince your middle class parents to buy you a 600+ dollar system... it'd be kinda hard to justify to yourself (assuming you work to make your money) dropping 600+ on a system... maybe (i doubt it but we can hope) sony will see this price factor and maybe start dropping the prices faster... ps2's didn't drop in price til after a year or so of being out... it's a slim chance but one can hope.

as for the get the head outta my ass statement... well it's actually alot of other people in this thread that have it there... if i had my head in my ass, i wouldn't admit 360 is about equal to the ps3... btw, go back a page or so and read the specs again.. the ps3 is a bit more powerful then the 360... to keep saying it's not is arrogant.. it's right there, proof in the specs.

1st.. it's not really any bigger then a 360 or the older ps2's... next... you have confused me with the game are too much to make... ? you're not a designer so the price to produce a game shouldn't really matter to you, new gams on 360 and ps3 are both 60$...

next, with blueray, you don't gotta say it can suck your dick just because 360 doesn't come with blueray.... blueray can hold even more information then a DVD.... which means more in depth, detailed, unique games..

if you think i have my head in my ass, go through the entire thread again... i give credit where credit is due... maybe you should read my entire posts and get the general idea of what i'm saying, instead of just picking out certain little parts you want to argue over... just a suggestion.

if i could have 2 choices it would be the nintindo oldies and 360. although the ps3 hasn't been out that long, it will soon be up there or maybe past the other systems. don t bother me i just like to play them.
