PS3 vs. Xbox 360

i still stand by one of my earlier arguments.. why pay to play games online.. that's stupid... i mean people are always talking about all the extras that you 'need' for playstations (as of recent memory the fan thing to keep it cool) but here xbox, requires pretty much the same extras (fan aside) and they make you pay to play online....

there's no way xbox online is better than playstation online TO A POINT to where it requires you to pay for it... it's just another way for microsoft to get more money out of you (for those who are tryign ot say sony drains you for every dime they can)

and again.... we still have to look at one point.... 360 has been out for how long now? well over a year.... ps3 has just recently came out.. of course they're not going to have alot of good ps only games yet... most of them are just ps-ports from xbox games... just wait til this time next year, and wait for all the games that will be out for ps3 once the game makers have had a good chance to see what they can do with the system...

that's the one thing that pisses me off about this whole debate.... 360 has been out forever now, while ps3 has barely been out... of course it's going to be supperior in games...

as someone said earlier stats wise, the 360 sucks... which technically in any real debate, is all you can debate on.. there's no real ground for ps3 to have on xbox at this time... xbox had over a year head start! oh and not to mention (of course this part is my opinion) not only did all the games on xbox pretty much blow... (xbox only games.. not the oens that were on both systems and even pc) but it took them til the 360, and quite a bit after the 360 was released to come out with one decent game....

gears of war...

so games wise.. the only thing xbox has on sony period.. is gears of war... and this is even comparing 360 to ps-fucking-2...

like i said, halo was fun for all of about 15 minutes... halo 2 was no diffrent and i can bet halo 3 dosen't change anythign either...

i've asked this exact question before... what does it have above other online play?? a universal buddy list? what?? how is xbox online so much better then ps3 online? it's not like xbox servers are so good, and ps servers suck and are always crashing (reliability) it's not like there's compatibility issues (all xbox games are always online, but you can only play ps games online on certain systems) so... if you're so damn smart, how about not just popping off at the mouth with comments like "ps3 sucks xbox is the king" and start naming fucking facts...

i want to see this list.. a side by side comparison? both systems servers are reliable... both systems servers offer a buddy list system... both systems servs are always on.... both systems servers always have room for more... so wtf does paying for online (xbox) get so much better then buying a fucking game (at the same price as the xbox games) and being able to get online without a bunch of extra bullshit and paying extra money out??? i mean are you just mentally retarded or do you not know the concept "just because you pay for it doesn't make it better"???

as for your last assanine statement... first of all, microsoft doesn't need to understand their system to make games (i won't even go into how microsoft isn't the ones who make games... maybe you're too fucking retarded to understand that as well) second of all... it only takes 6months to a year (if that) for game developers to learn the true potential of a system and start using it... so when both have been out for a year, it doesn't fucking matter if xbox has been out longer.... all the developers will have an idea of the machines capability... the system isn't going to magically upgrade it's self and be more powerful then the day it was produced.... all that happens in that time is the developers start learning the limitations and ability of the fucking system....
