PS3 vs. Xbox 360

I have a feelin that this thread could go on for a few years. That's about how long it will be before we can tell whos the 'best' system. Then there's the point about what makes it best. Is it the sales figures? Is it the hardware? the marketing? You get my point. Both systems are awesome. That's for sure.

I'm still gonna end up getting a wii before the other ones, but that doesn't mean I don't still want the other ones.

I have no problem recognizing greatness.

Every month the 360 comes out with new games that every one likes. Ps3 has what resistance. My friend has a ps3 and i almost got one when i bought my 360 but to be honest the ammount of ps3 sitting there not being bought siad something to me. Yeah u have to pay for xbox live, 4 dollars a months sorry dude thats sooooo much money, not to mention the ammount of shit u can actually download of live, game demos, trailers, u can get movies if u wanted to, they just have an awsome live platform, the the ps3 i didnt find to great but its free.

see that's what iw as talking about, just some reason that puts 360 online above ps online.. (one of the main things me and station were arguing about) instead of telling me that he just said ps3 sucks and 360 owns... all i wanted was what it offered and he still couldn't provide that (that's why i ended up just ignoring him, i think he was purposely just trying to instigate an argument... takes two to argue, but i hate ignorant people)



as for the rest of the above post... yes xbox has alot more games, but it's also been out a year longer.. no one seems to look at that when they compare the games between the two systems... the only thing i can think of atm to compare that to would be like you playing a rpg like FFXI or WoW for a year, then finally getting your friend to join in... then within just a couple of months of him of joining, expecting him to have everything (levels, money, equipment, quests completed ect ect..) you have....

360 had a huge head start... if somehow ps3 decided upon it's release (after 360 has been out so long) to have a relatively close number of games.. they would all be complete shit....

as for the units sitting around in comparison... of course they're going to... just becuase they're not flying outta the store doesn't mean anything... except that not everyone can afford to get one... or will let themselves afford it... the price on it is ridiculous...

only actual true PS fans or people with alotta money to waste, i'd expect to really buy a ps3... you see two systems that are relatively equal in performance... but ones about 300$ cheaper... (atleast i think i'm not exactly sure on the price of the 360) and has more games (because of the head start) what do you think most people are going ot choose? it would just be illogical to have no real attachment to either, and decide you're going ot spend 300 extra...
