prehistoric shark photographed aliveThats fuckin crazy. I saw that on cnn.com yesterday. I turned on CNN and saw the video! There were people swimming with it before it died. That is some crazy shit. Not that its some kind of maneater (which it isn't) but just looking at it, youd have to be crazy to get in the water with it.

I read that this was the only living one ever seen. They have been seen before, but they were dead and caught in fishing nets and whatnot.

prehistoric shark photographed aliveWell, in mankinds defense, the shark lives 2000 feet under the water. They speculated that it was fixing to die anyway....or was actually dying because it was lost in shallow waters (where they found it).

I don't think humans have much affect on conditions 2000 feet under the ocean.

prehistoric shark photographed aliveyeah they don't.. but c'mon, you know as well as i do, it's meddling with other species that dissapear for good... the only species i know anything about that's dissapeared (i'm not too much into animals and shit) is the dodo bird, and that was becasue we hunted them all til extinction...

 International Wolf Center
just to give you an idea how many we lose every year...In the year 2000, scientists estimated that at least one species of plant or animal goes extinct every 20 minutes—that's 26,280 species that disappear every year!

and on a side note the only 2 species that i've ever heard we've meddled with that were endangered that we didn't end up wiping out completely is the panda and the bald eagle..

Perhaps the shark committed suicide after a Kevin Costner movie.

prehistoric shark photographed aliveWell I don't think its the destructive nature of man, as much as it is the CRAZY number of mouths we create.

Only so many people can inhabit this earth. I am a wide open space person, I can't handle the rat race of a big city. I have to have room to breathe and move around. I am definately not a gated community kind of guy, I think its sort of gay, but I do wish the USA was a gated community.
