There are a few things you need to know though.

It will work best for clones and seedlings, and does wash off easy if you want to go hydro. You need to work in layers, there is not a lot of grip for roots to hold on to for the plant to get very large with out tipping or leaning. If you work in layers then as the plant grows you can add more soil and give more support as the plant grows taller.

Make sure you have plenty of drainage it's not a real soil-less mixture you are using it will hold some water for a time but it should stay moist and cool on its own.

My best advice is if you are growing to full term then just use this to start your seedling and then when it grows to the vegetation cycle you can transplant it to better soil suited to growing larger plants.

Yes you can; but I suggest that you don't use it for the full grow unless you are experienced with the signs or nutrient problems.

im doing the whole layering thing, started with less than half a pot of soil and im just going to keep ading more. and for the drainage ive got a bit of pearlite in it and it drains and holds water as needed... thanks for the advice zandor
