Get a lawyer who specializes in that area, don't go in without one.

Years ago I got busted a regular awful public highschool. I went to school with nothing that day but by the end of it I was charged with possesion of marijuana and possesion of cocaine. long story, I was a freshman and had never even seen cocaine. the charge was erroneous. I had a bag of baking soda and cinnamon in my backpack that had been there for months. It wasn't in there for any illegal reason (some kid in math class held it up and said "i have this left over from home ec does anybody want it?" and for some stoner freshman reason I took it from him). If it was cocaine, it would of been way more coke then any freshman can afford. It filled the bottom of a sandwich bag about an inch, it would of been a shitload of coke.

Oh that brings me to another point, those field tests for coke get faked out by baking soda.

I was charged with pot because I was holding a pipe at the time we got discovered by the gym teacher. another kid was holding a pipe but didn't get charged, and it was made clear that the pipe wasn't mine as the owner told the vice principal it was his.

They charged me with coke with the intent to drop the charge and then stick me with possesion of marijuana. I didn't have a lawyer who knew what he was doing, he was a friend of the family but he wasn't a drug lawyer.

If I had only plead not guilty to both counts I could of maybe prevented the next year of my life being totally messed up by my crazy case manager. I'll say her name here because she is awful and unprofessional and I still hold a burning grudge for what she put me and my family through.

But my lawyer had me go guilty to the marijuana charge and no contest to the coke. They dropped the cocaine charge like planned. For the marijuana charge I got treatment, but was treated like a coke addict.

Another point, the smallest amount of poppy seeds on the day of a piss test will test positive for opiates. The gas chromatography (performed to find out exactly what opiate) will show a morphine to codeine ratio of 2:1. A ratio of that number means the test subject is either using pharmaceutical grade morphine, or a false positive due to poppy seeds.

Pay the money for the lawyer, and make sure you are using a lawyer specifically for drugs if you ever get caught and are underage.
