I'm doing an attic grow, it's more of a crawl space fortunately I have fresh air vents in the roof so setting up some fan systems shouldn't be too hard. Unfortunately my attic isn't habitable, I had to build the floor (the floor is studs and insulation foam stuff) and am in the process of finishing construction of the walls (I'm going to use plastic white plastic sheeting wrapped in some kind of insulation (gets pretty damn cold there) and black plastic sheeting over that to light proof it.

I still need to build an actual DWC system, buy some buckets/containers (which I plan on doing after I've built everything while plants are in seedling stage). I'm thinking about using a shallow rectangle Tupperware with holes drilled for the net pots and the air valves. Any good ideas would be appreciated! For now my basic game plan is to hand water with sprayer (distilled water, but unfortunately I don't have a pH tester yet which I'm going to order from http://www.sunstoneherbals.com/digi..._water_well.htm sometime soon)
Also want to get a 8" inline fan, hygrometer (didn't have enough $ last time I went to hydro store, but there was a beauty with min/max 23$) and everything else I may need (within reason I'm not made out of money)

Supplies I've obtained:
Mylar (big ass roll)
Cal-Mag +
2' T8 fluorescents with 6500k (5.5~6k Lumens) and lamp.
Pre-owned 1,000 watt HPS (has some wiring problems though, see pics)
Net pots of various sizes.
Hydrogaurd
pH down
Premium bagseed (10-20 good quality a few runts)
Decent bagseed (20-50 good quality a few runts)
Floramicro hardwater 32 oz
Floragro 32 oz
Various sizes of rockwool.
Tarp Zipper (light tight)
Stakes and ties.
Sprayer
Superthrive
Seedling Flat.
Vornado Fan.
Big bag of 1"Airstones
Double output airpump

Schematics:
Total Room: 8'X8'X8' (slanted ceiling, I'm growing in my attic. ranges from around 5' at lowest to 10 at highest' but the area I'm using is 6'-8')
Vegetation room: 6' X 2' X 8'
Flowering Room 6X6X8
