I agree 100%. Big Pharma and Big Government want us to take all our medicine in a pill or injection so they can profit and tax it.

Regular cannabis is a medicine you can grow in your own backyard. Many of our great-grandparents and grandparents did before the Marijuana Prohibtion.

On a side note, there is mercury in a lot of vaccines. Mercury is poison. They disguise it by calling it Themirosol or something like that.

There's also poison in our food and drinks, such as Aspartame and High Fructose Corn Syrup. There are many others, too... this is all in food and drink that is sold at your local grocery store; and it is in a majority of the products. Chemical preservatives... and ingredients in the food which nutrients have been sucked out (perhaps not with the intention of doing so). Even the "healthy diet" TV-dinners that you can buy like "healthy choice" and stuff like that has potentially harmful things in it.

I have come to the conclusion that the westernized world is shit, and has been contaminated with chemicals to replace anything natural. Really, it's sad. Since when do we need all these chemicals in our food? Oh, I know... it's because the majority of people want to go to the store and pick out their dinners right then and there, not wanting to take the time to make a real meal. Of course, this can all be attributed to laziness and/or our time-restrained, stressful lifestyles.

But that's definitely far off from what this thread is about. Sorry about that, just thought I'd add onto angrynomad's post.

Marinol has been shown to not be as medicinally effective as cannabis, as it lacks other cannabinoids. Plain and simple. Oh, but yes, it most definitely will get you very high.

long story short by boy had a lockerfull of drugs (atleast two ounces, a bottle of oxycontin and a handful of those marinols) and someone jacked everything. To make it more fucked up we found out it was one of the lunch aids.

I have a friend who is currently going through chemotherapy and one of the meds they have her taking is Marinol. She says it doesn't give her much of a buzz but it does almost completely eliminate the terrible nausea she was experiencing from the chemo.

I have heard mercury is thought to be a contributor to the growing problem of autism. I don't know a lot about that, but I heard it was in some drugs given to young children, and they are just now finding many of those kids are growing up with autism. It's this and every other news article you read about some new drug causing major severe side effects, but yet ignorant politicians like Hillary Clinton and others keep beating the drum of "we need more studies on marijuana". It just really pisses me off that marijuana needs an infinite number of studies, meanwhile the drugs coming from the pharmaceutical companies never get put under the same scrutiny. Then people like Clinton say "Oh, taking money from lobbyists doesn't effect my decisions" No, of course not! coughHYPOCRITEcough

I'm with you guys. Our government has consistently rallied against marijuana use both recreationally and medically in more than 40 states on both the Federal and State legislative levels, yet the FDA would rather let big pharm synthesize THC to make a profit than allow it's own people to grow, harvest and benefit from cannabis. Total and complete hypocracy, bullshit. Bullshit bullshit bullshit.
