How is the cabinet working out? It looks like an awesome set up. I was thinking of using a similar set up but for growing lowryder from seed to flower. What do you think?
This is not real. It is stupid fun and a figment of my imagination. Seriously.

this would be an excellent setup for growing lowryder or smaller plants. But then again, any plant can be a smaller plant if you grow it that way! Check out how it is coming along with only 2 plants in there! This is the same grow box as earlier, meaning it still does not have any active ventilation. We did however add a passive carbon filter (see top in picture) We will flower in the next week so we are working out the ventilation logistics. We are thrilled with the results thus far and can't wait to have indoor soil AND hydro grows running at the same time. Heat stays around 74 F and about the same when the light is off and the doors are shut.

Nice job on the cab.Is the walls on the side of the cab hollow? If they are I was thinking you can cut a vent hole in the top on the inside wall and cut a vent hole at the bottom on the outside and mount a muffle fan on the inside pushing hot air out.It would be light proof.its just a thought. Peace P.S. nice job on light proofing.

Thanks for your input crazywill. There actually is a passive carbon vent that is approx 6" at the top of the cabinet. We were going to put venting from the wall to about the middle of the cabinet since we still have to move around the shelf as the plants grow. We will use a 80cfm in line duct fan to pump fresh air in, and the hot air will just escape out the top! I will keep you guys posted on how well this T5 does from clone to flower with bloom bulbs. The world of T5 lighting is new to me and that is what I mainly wanted to see about.
