    New Box, finally

    Yep, built from scratch..
    Demensions: 4'H x 2'L x 2'1"W

just a quick post, not growing in this yet. I'm getting either 2 or 4 5" axial fans from http://www.discounthydro.com/ventilation.asp#vortex
Mounted at the top (Air Out)
    And bottom (Air In)

125w Daylight bulb, along with hydrofarm reflector/fixture for vegging. (Optionial: May get some more fluro's and mount of the walls, but I dont know yet)

    400w HPS for flowering
Dont exactly know how well this is going to work, considering I wasent planning on flowering in the box, but I hope to manage (tie down, crop, ect. to keep height at a minimum).

This was all designed for three Waterfarm Bubblers (http://www.insidesun.com/index.php?a...=5&prevstart=0)

    Sound good?

I bought one of those hydrofarm light/reflector, and I have some seriously dense veg going on, at 4.5 weeks (in soil) they measure 10" and have canopies nearly as wide as they are tall, and internodal growth that I would not have believed possible without MH light. Nice box dude, best of luck with it's maiden voyage. BUT be careful when installing of removing the bulb in that thing, grip it as close to the socket as you can, as the plastic ballast is two pieces glued together, if it does come apart, superglue works fine.
I need to think of something clever to put here...

u can use yr fluro in a separaste smaller chamber to veg plants ready to put straight underr the hps for flowering.
fluro always growing, hps always flowering.
harvest every hps cycle not every fluro+hps cycle.

    Hey dude, alright.
Well, first off it may be your fertilizer, are you using to much?
The way its said around here about 1/4 the strength it says on the package for pot, and then slowly increase. Water when the soil is dry TWO inches down, if its moist, give it a day and then check again.
As for the height, as long as you have a fan blowing below that light, you can have your plants as close as two INCHES away. Im not into the metric, lol
The different levels, I take it you mean, height of the plants. Simply place something underneith them so that all the plants are even at the tops.
(That bulb only outputs about 6800 lumens; you need anywhere from 2500-3000 per square foot, which is the rough estimate, the "lowest" you would want, Im aware of this, but I personally think you can veg a good plant with just this light, Im getting another eventually though)

As for the smaller box, that is something I was considering, I would kind of like to do a SCrOg or whatever grow, can you do this with bubblers?
If so, what would I need, net to spread across the top of the plants?

    Update..
Ok, this is my new idea for ventilation.
First I buy a blower, air cooled hood, ducting, and two five inch axial fans.
I want a 465 cfm Dayton blower. I have to buy the fittings along with ducting. The DUAL hose fittings, they connect to the blower, and I would mount them into the top of the box. One side of the blower is connected to a long tube running, in the corner, to the bottom of my box which has holes up along the side. The air can pass freely through the plants, from all over.
The second side is to be connected to the ducting, which runs through the air cooled hood and out the side of the box.
The axial fans are placed into the side of the box, near the top to draw heat out, as well as old air. (These small, five inch fans pack a 365 cfm)
So the two questions I would like to have answered..
Would the blower push to much air for the plants? They would be flowering before it would be on, and I would have a smaller fan on them while vegging to help build stem.
The second would be, how much would this shit cost on the electric bill and would it all be able to be hooked up without a seperate breaker?
Durring vegitation: TWO compact fluros, AT THE MOST, would be on, 24/7.
The two axial fans would be on, well, I dont know, what should they be on?
and a smaller fan used to circulate the air would be on 24/7.
Flowering: 12/12 - 400w HPS, Dayton blower and axial fans, along with the air circulating fan on 24/7.
    Thanks

    i use coco.
water everyday, full strength, until theres runoff. flush once fortnightly.
if theyre growing fast enough its not too wet or strong.
if under a smaller light or theyre growing slower, I''ll skip a day of feed here and there. drying out can spur them on sometimes.

your cupboard sounds good. id only veg 20/4 at most. plants have a proces they do in the dark cycle. i know heaps of folks go 24hrs. i like to give my girls a sleep so they wake up fiesty.
