Not that I think Ahmadinejad is all sunshine and flowers, but did anybody actually read the structure of this sentence? "Be assured that the US and Israel will soon end lives". All that sentence conveys is that the US and Israel will kill people. How is that interpreted to mean that Iran will kill them?

Now there's an Idea, let them talk, what an ingenious idea, actually talking to each other rather than spouting war like rhetoric and threats, my God why didn't they think of that.
