Lancaster, Pa and Chicago Experiences

I have been living in Chicago for three years now and last year I started smoking again after about a year and half hiatus. I have been smoking since 1995... regularly since 1997. I am living in the Roger's Park area of Chicago. I have bought cannabis from three different guys from here and here are some of my experiences. Do they match up with yours? I am only looking for honest opinions... the boards are peppered with comments that say they can get oz of 'killer bud' for such and such ridiculous price.

First of all.. I came from Lancaster, Pa and always personally knew the guys. I started off with some hippy-artsy dude who charged $60 an 1/8th for decent bud.. than it went to $55 after I knew him better. Kind of a paranoid guy which came off to me as being shady.Than I got a new guy... a close family friend who was selling it at $50. The most recent trip back there (this winter) I got it for $45 from the guy who replaced him after he got busted. The bud in all cases I would say is good stuff... nice tight compact buds and decent potency. Lancaster is a place which has Philadelphia, Baltimore , DC and NY all within a few hours of driving so a lot of drugs come through there. We got pretty decent stuff.

Now... I live in Chi-town. I started out with one guy for $55 eighth... and he has now dropped off the face of the planet. Don't care, except he was a steady supply of weed. I got some mid-grade (loose buds... harvested probably two to three weeks early) sensimilia for $45 an eighth from a 'retired' drug dealer who was doing me a favor.

I have been recently getting it from a guy who only sells $20 /grams.... he isn't selling any larger bags. he gets pretty decent weed... orange crush and maui were the strain names given. The buds are compact buds that look like they have been harvested and cured well. I have only bought a few bags but everything so far has been really good weed (nice, clear and strong buzzes that last).

Of course, I have also gotten schwag ... I really I only gave my buds experience. Usually though... schwag seems to be hard to get. It went around freely in high school but than tapered off from there. My younger brother and his friends could get it... so when he was in high school I was smoking it than.

I haven't seen schwag for probably 4 years or so... except from my cousin who lives in Mississippi (which was pretty decent, though not seed free weed) and my Uncle in Missouri... they have never even seen in real life weed that "looks like high times weed".


I hear chi-town prices are expensive but the weed is really good. What are other people experiences in these areas?


If any one knows bulk prices from here... what you actually paid not "what you can get them for" I would be very interested in seeing your posts on the topic what you would get in these areas by bulk. It would be interesting to see. I believe qp's were going for $250 for schwag in Lancaster five or so years ago.

i live in a suburb of chicago, prices are the exact same as you listed, $20/gram =/

from what i've heard chi-town has pretty expensive weed, but it some of the best...i live in a suburb of chicago, about 25min away from the downtown area. in my area there is 2 pretty big dealers and a whole bunch of little gram/half gram dealers. one guy sells ounces for pretty cheap and the weed is pretty good: looks good, tastes good, and has decent amount of thc. then the other guy sells ounces for more expensive price (about 20-30$ more) but it probally the best weed i've ever smoked, my friend picks up off him too so i get to smoke it all the time. but from what i've seen in small amounts, half grams (.6-.7) are 10$, grams (1.1-1.3) are 20$, and 1/8s (3.4-3.5) are 50$.

dealers dont really make much money off 1/8s so they dont hook them up as fat as grams or half grams. anything over an 1/8 you get taxed on or have to go to one of the 2 big dealers that pick up qps and sell by the ounce.

:stoned: imp: i'm from Doylestown, about an hour or two from lancaster, about an hour north of Philly. Our prices are pretty much the same, and from I know our main hub is actually Trenton in New Jersey.

Now I'm at school near Pittsburgh, the weed is pretty damn cheap and pretty swell. 40 bucks an 8th, 260 an Ounce. It's nice, but i'm broke right now
