I do enjoy Stone Sour's first album. I think it is really well done and has good aggression to it.

I gave their newest one a listen and I was disgusted by it. Horrible lyrics and music writing. It showed very little talent and I didn't get into it at all.

cuz if i started finding all they're decent songs off youtube id end up searchin for about 20-30 songs.. which i just cant be bothered to do right now.. lol, all you have to do is go onto youtube and search "slipknot" and then the name of whatever song u wanna listen to haha

holy im gonna get flamed for this. But why does everyone cum their panties over slipknot? theyre not even metal, they are nu-metal. for me slipknot getss lumped in with MM and Korn.

why not listen to some REAL metal if you want aggresive music? Death, Necrophagist, Amon amarth is jsut a couple, hell id lsiten to cannibal corpse before slipknot. But thats just me.

i am no troll im not looking for attention. Im just sharing my opinion, its no fun for eveyerone in a thread to say the same thing over and over again. Im just trying to find the appeal. Cause as much as people enjoy it for the aggresive aspect, theres lots of stuff out theres thats far more aggresive and much more musically technichal and pleasing(not neccisarily both). but all you guys, who like the gore, the misanthropy, and the agression, should try listening to some other stuff(canibal corpse, necrophagist etc are both pretty gore oriented)

you know i've been told this so many times about slipknot, but it's not true, i think ti fits more with CC then slipknot... "if i wanted to hear a bunch of ir-rythmacial music slightly masked by mindless screaming i'd go to my nearest meat proccessing facility and shove someone's hand in a meat grinder..."

i still don't understand how anyone thinks people listen to slipknot because 'they bang instruments and scream' try listening a little more closer, and if you don't like something, don't go into a thread especially dedicated to that thing, state your 'opinion' and expect to not be seen as a troll. because that is what a troll does....
