Grow closets?

Are the grow closets that are available from these different websites any good? Are they worth the money? Has anyone tried any of them?

i have to tell you that I originally thought about going that route until I saw one in person. if you are technically adept at all you can find enough info here and over the net to build a system yourself.

you will come away with a deeper knowledge about all aspects of growing when you're not spoon fed a system.

plus the cost that you save (figure saving 2/3 to 1/2 of their sale price) can go towards better seeds! :greenthumb:

check out the grow cabinet me and my roommate made yesterday in about 3 hours. It wasn't very hard and there are still some things to do. We have to cut an inlet out of the side and also mylar the inside, but those are very simple to do. Try the garden section at your local hardware store for those outside gardening storage containers. They are easy to cut & work with and also very light for easy portability.

Wow thats a really nice one deft, im thinking about making two of those for clones and mothers. Im still very new to this so do you guys think a grow closet would be good enough for an entire crop. I mean like from seedling to Flowering? Or should i just convert a room in my house for the flowering stage? Also i want to use a hydro setup and im wondering is it to complicated for a beginner?

there is plenty using grow cabs for there entire grow but having 2-3 cabs like 1 or 2 for flowering and the other for clones or mothers would help just depends on how much yield and growing style you prefer to use, as most cabs are limited in height so many are limited to scrog or sog or lst training the plants as they dont have the height a regular room would have so its really up to you would probably look at what type of yield you want to harvest and how many watts of lighting you will need, which style of growing you prefer, sog, scrog, or larger plants and decide from there whether you should use a cab or convert a room.
